Maureen Maher began her broadcasting career in 1991 as a morning-drive news anchor for Chicago-based radio station WLUW (FM). Maher then relocated to Detroit in 1992, where she worked as a reporter for WJBK-TV and CBS-owned radio station WWJ (AM) until 1995.
